Dublin and Beyond: A Week of City Hopping on a Budget

Dublin is compact, so this plan treats it as a base and adds day trips by train to Belfast, Galway, Kilkenny, and Cork, plus Howth by DART. Expect cool, wet weather throughout October, so pack a proper rain jacket and waterproof shoes. Cards work everywhere and tap water is safe, so you can skip bottled water and minimize ATM runs.
