Privacy Policy

Last updated September 24, 2026.

EhBudgetTravels is operated by Sourav Chatterjee, a sole proprietor based in Ontario, Canada. This page explains what we collect, why, and who we share it with.

What we collect

Your email address — to sign you in (via a one-time magic link) and to contact you about your account.
Home airport — if you give it, either on sign-up or through the email banner on the landing page. Used to tailor future alerts; not required to use the site.
Billing information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we keep only your Stripe customer/subscription ID and billing status (trial, active, cancelled) so the site knows what you've paid for.
Account activity — which plans you've unlocked and your subscription status, so we can show you the right thing.

We don't run advertising trackers or analytics scripts on the site today. If that changes, we'll update this page first.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run the site, and your data passes through them for that purpose only:

Stripe — payment processing and billing. See Stripe's privacy policy.
Supabase — sign-in and our database. See Supabase's privacy policy.
Cloudflare — hosts the site itself.

We also use a few services to research and build the trip content you see (flight and hotel data, destination facts, AI drafting) — none of these ever receive your personal account information; they only ever see public travel data.

We don't sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone else beyond what's listed here.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account exists. If you'd like your account and the data tied to it deleted, email us and we'll do it, subject to anything Stripe or Canadian tax law requires us to keep for billing records.

Cookies

We use one essential cookie to keep you signed in. It's required for the site to work and isn't used for tracking or advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account — email chatteswork@gmail.com and we'll handle it directly, since this is a small, one-person-run site.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site grows; we'll update the date above when we do.

This is a standard early-stage template, written to reflect how the site actually works — it hasn't been reviewed by a lawyer. Reasonable for a small site today; worth a proper legal review before the business grows.
